One Step Towards An Eco Friendly Screen Printing Shop

Screen printing can be a dirty business, and the dirtiest part of the job is easily reclaiming screens if you have a smaller shop. Theres ink, tape and emulsion flying all over the damn place, and you never finish in dry clothes. But there is something much worse than all of this…the stuff going down your drain.

Trust me this stuff is nasty, it can cause serious damage to your plumbing over time and it’s also not too great for the environment. Both cases can cost you a lot of money in repairs or fines if you aren’t careful. Thankfully there is a way around this, by adding a filtration system to your washout booth.

I’ve been wanting to add one of these things to my setup for a long time now. I’ve been printing and reclaiming more and more since Rogue Lab started and I’ve been at the point where its 100% necessary to have a filtration system for a long time now. Lets set it up and test it out…
