Make T-Shirts With Crazy Overprint Effects!

Overprints! I’ve been wanting to try this for so damn long, I’ve seriously lost sleep over this idea for months. “Will it work? Will it actually look good? Will this just be a blunder for the internet to see?” are all things that have been running through my mind since the idea came to me. Well I finally said fuck it and decided to make it happen.

First up, I got Dan on board with the idea and it was up to him to figure out a cool design that would layer up properly while still looking like two separate pieces of art. Long story short, he nailed it and gave me something super cool to work with. It was all up to me after that, and making this translate over to a shirt the same way that it looked on a computer screen wasn’t going to be easy with all of the super fine details and the general idea of the overprint itself.

It took some trial and error to get the ink mixtures and the process itself figured out, but this thing came out way cooler than I could have imagined. Check it out!
