Remake Simple Logos Using Basic Shapes In Adobe Illustrator

I hate image trace. Let me repeat…I. Hate. Image. Trace. The amount of ruined artwork and piss poor jobs done in the print world because of image trace is insane to me, when it’s really not too difficult to properly vectorize a lot of it. Most of the time it just takes some basic shapes, a font or two and maybe some tweaking with the pen tool to make damn near any logo out there. Today we’re going to start at ground zero on the beginner side of adobe illustrator and recreate a simple logo using nothing but a few shapes and about 10 minutes worth of time.
