Modifying My Screen Printing Press

My screen printing press has been great so far, I’ve been putting in work on that thing every day for nearly a year now. But the more technical I’ve been getting with my prints, the more I’ve been kicking myself in the ass that I didn’t get a press with side clamps. Well, we’re going to put an end to that right now. Thankfully the newest Riley Hopkins press has a lot of interchangeable parts with mine, and it just so happens the side clamps would bolt right up. So I hit up Ryonet and got some sent over to me ASAP (big thanks to those guys for hooking up these parts). It all went together pretty easily and I even came up with my own way to level the print heads out which worked incredibly well.

I’ll have to put in some time on the press to give a proper opinion on how this new setup works, there is a lot of new stuff to get used to here. But I have printed off a couple jobs with it so far and I’m liking it more and more, so I can see a positive review in the future. This is just one more small step towards elevating my game and being able to knock out more technical work. Plus my press also looks super bad ass now, and thats really what’s important right?
