This Vinyl Cutter Is Insane!

It happened again…I got another new piece of equipment. The past few months I’ve seen a pretty big spike in business with our wide format printer. Stickers, heat transfers, large decals, wraps and everything in between, that printer has been working its ass off. Well that printer also happened to pull double duty as the cutter so with the work piling up, that turned into serious bottleneck really fast. Aside from that, it’s cutting abilities weren’t living up to my stupidly high quality standards, this also needed to be dealt with. The time has come to add a stand alone cutter to the mix.

Normally I’m pretty impulsive, but this decision was one I took my time with for a change. I wanted to make sure I was going to get exactly what I needed for the business and the type of stuff we make. I went back and forth between Roland, Summa and Graphtec for about a month, each had their pros and cons and it wasn’t easy to figure out. But in the end it was the Summa S2 T140 that came out on top, and this machine is insane!
