It's Almost There!
Huge progress was made on the KLX 110 build this week. And when I say huge, I mean I got totally carried away and did way more than planned. I went into the garage with the intention of tackling the triple trees and forks, and came out with the bike 80% complete. Sometimes I just can’t control myself.
There are all kinds of trick new parts covering this thing now and I’m starting to see that vision that I had 6 months ago turn into a reality. I can’t mention enough how good it feels to be in the garage wrenching on bikes again, especially a full build. If I had it my way, I would keep building bikes one after another and never stop…but I’d need some real fuck you money to do that haha. So for now, I’ll settle with one really cool pit bike. It’s still not quite there yet, I still have to build a set of wheels and mount the rubber, take care of the final drive, add a bunch more parts that serve no purpose over the stock stuff other than looking cool, and wrap it all up with the graphics that I’ve had to stare at for a few months. So I think I’ve got 1 or 2 more videos left before this thing is fully complete and ready to wreak havoc on the neighbourhood, make sure to stick around for that!
