We Have Wheels!

The wait is finally over, we’re back on the KLX 110 build and we’re going to finish this bastard. It took me 2 months to shoot this video, not literally, but that was the gap between the few days that I collected footage. Between the studio build, the print shop, the brand and tearing my house apart, that time really got away from me and flew by. To be honest I can’t say it really bothered me because those things needed to get done and were much more important, even though some people might not think so (the messages I got in that time were both hilarious and annoying lol).

Anyways, that shit storm passed and I was finally able to get some more work done on this little monster. I tackled the wheels, brakes and final drive and finally got it to roll under its own weight again after about 5 months of sitting on a stand. The wheel and tire combo really woke up the look of the bike and got rid of that wimpy kids trail bike look they have stock, and who doesn’t love a shiny gold chain? Literally no one. On top of that we added plenty more machined billet goodness which was all completely unnecessary, but nothing about building a pit bike like this is necessary so why not.

This bike is shaping up so incredibly and I can’t wait to show everyone the finished product. I’ve been dreaming of building a totally stupid pit bike like this for so long and it’s almost there damn it! No more gaps or waiting, we return next week to finish it off and have the final reveal.
