My New Studio!

This is something I’ve wanted to do for so long…shit, it’s something I’ve NEEDED for so long. I’ve always wanted to make a higher volume of videos than I have in the past but I could never really figure out how to pull it off because my usual videos take so much work to make. Seriously my vlogs take a day or two of shooting and a full day of editing (which is why they look the way they do and I’ll never sacrifice that quality), so making them would have to be my full time job if I were to make more than one every week. Filming and editing my vlogs is great and I really enjoy it, but I feel like myself and the channel have evolved to do more now with the adding of the printing and business side. Thats when the lightbulb hit me, thats how I can make more content.

It’s been no secret that my videos have been covering more and more of that stuff over the past year and lately I’ve been trying to pass along as much useful information in my videos as I can, because I’ve been wanting to help the people out there who are in my position or are looking to take those steps. Well the response to that has been super cool and it got me thinking that I want to really focus the content towards the business stuff that I do every day and helping people. All of the sudden it hit me just how many new things I could make if I did that. Everything I do here with both businesses and making content tie in together so well and all of that knowledge and different skills play off each other in some way, this is what I need to be sharing! So why not branch out into dedicated tutorials and reviews and other things like that so the people looking for that help can find it a lot easier than sifting through a 15 minute vlog. It just makes sense to pinpoint this stuff down and I have no idea why it took me so long to figure it out. It will make it a lot easier to find and digest for the people watching, and it won’t take me 3 days to make a video like that. Everybody wins.

In order to do this I needed to figure out how and where to shoot them. If you’re reading this you probably know by now how just picky I am when it comes to this stuff. I didn’t want to just keep showing the same spots over and over again in every video because myself and everyone else would get sick of it. So it did what any overly obsessive person would do…I tore apart a room in my house and turned it into a studio.

Now I have a space dedicated to these new types of videos that I’ll be adding to my arsenal, and can knock them out a lot more efficiently while still kind of looking cool. This is only the beginning of it, as I can afford to I’ll be tricking this room out completely to make myself the best possible spot to smash out more content on top of the vlogs. Im so excited to get started!
