Learning How To Get Clean Embroidery With Small Letters

I’m a screen printer, I come from the land of infinite possibilities when it comes to putting detailed artwork into clothing. So the one thing that has always bothered me about embroidery is the fact that I have to be a lot more relaxed when it comes to the level of detail that I can produce. Even with the best machines on earth you can only do so much with it, you are drawing with thread after all. I had a job where getting small detailed lettering into a logo was crucial, and I wasn’t going to be happy unless that lettering both looked like the actual artwork, and was readable up close or at a distance. So I set out to learn and try some new embroidery techniques in this video to get the results I was after.
